If the decelerating motor is unable to work and the sound increases, the measurement of the output voltage of the frequency converter shall be stopped first. Because the output voltage is directly proportional to the output frequency, the voltage is not a certain value, but the three-phase voltage is balanced. So measuring the output voltage, in practice, is to measure whether the three-phase voltage can be balanced or open phase. The output voltage of the converter is unbalanced, which is mainly caused by the poor or damaged switch of a certain switch bridge arm, resulting in the output voltage phase failure or imbalance.
As for the over-voltage problem of the frequency converter, if there is no feedback power, the common voltage will not exceed 540V. If it exceeds this value, most of the feedback power is generated by the frequency converter. In some places, the reason why the frequency converter generates the feedback electric energy is not obvious. You can connect the voltmeter for a long time, monitor the voltage on the DC bus, see when the voltage rises, and check whether there is a corresponding relationship with the operation of the load, so as to determine the source of the over-voltage.
The way to measure the DC bus voltage is to set the 47 type multimeter to 1000V DC, measure the voltage at both ends of the DC bus, and the over-voltage alarm value of the common frequency converter is designed between 700-780v. When the measured value is within this range, it is clarified that the frequency converter does have over-voltage fault. If the voltage is below 540-700v and in the normal range, it is a false alarm of the voltage detection circuit of the frequency converter. The false alarm generated by the frequency converter is the phenomenon that the DC bus voltage exceeds 540V, but it has not reached the set value of the over-voltage alarm. If the carrier frequency of the frequency converter is set too low, the carrier frequency can be set higher properly, but at this time, it will bring some problems. If the carrier frequency is adjusted too high, it will cause interference to other equipment, especially when PLC communication mode is adopted. Therefore, the carrier frequency should be set according to the practical situation of the site.
If the three-phase output voltage of the frequency converter is balanced from time to time, the reason lies in the reduction motor itself. This time is about to find out the reasons or deal with them one by one. When looking for the problem from the reduction motor itself, we first need to see how many phases the motor is. If it is a single-phase motor, check whether the capacitance is damaged. If it is a three-phase motor, check whether there is a problem in the winding. Only when the motor is loaded can it be reduced. If the deceleration motor is used for a long time, or the motor quality is not good, the load can be reduced. At this time, the noise of the motor will also be greater than that of normal. If the motor cooling fan is damaged or scratched, the motor is not fixed stably. In a word, if we can take prevention as the main measure, prevent pre separation, and deal with problems, it will be conducive to the durable of the motor.
